December Webinar: Body Items* for Body Liberation
In this webinar, participants are to reflect upon their understanding of body items* as well as related biases and perceptions through word-association activities, values-based assessments, and intentional self-reflection. *In this context, “body items” is to be used as an umbrella term for materials, items, pieces, and toys that might affirm one’s identity and expression.
During our time together, participants will reflect upon the value of discussing body items within sex education spaces to better support evolving needs and identities, including gender (expressions), abilities, relationship style(s), and personal comfort as we support folks towards their vision of Body Liberation.
