National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day
Join the Native Community Health Network in honoring National Native HIV AIDS Awareness Day (NNHAAD). NNHAAD is a national campaign that was founded by Indigenous relatives from Turtle Island, the Northern territories, and the Hawaiian Islands in 2007. Each year NNHAAD is celebrated on March 20th to increase awareness and promote HIV testing in Native communities. This one-hour, interactive webinar will include an overview of the history of NNHAAD, some HIV basics, plus current resources for everything from treatment to prevention for Indigenous relatives amid the pandemic. You can also visit nnhaad.org to learn more about the day!
